Shawn Cheng and I collaborated on this retelling of a classic Japanese fairy tale. We originally self-published it as a mini-comic, but later it was anthologized in Best American Comics. Shawn drew the first half of the story (murder), and I drew the second half (vengeance). Sample page from my half shown here.
